Orange Ya Glad

The one benefit to 28 days of rain is a green landscape that rivals the coast of Ireland or the Costa Rican rainforest.

This sunny, summery day trekking the acres of Willowood stirred up wild turkeys with the tiniest chicks scurrying behind. There were deer fawn, circling wild hawks, and bright orange butterflies alighting on some equally as bright, bursting orange flowers. My quick snap of them with the iphone doesn't quite due them justice...but they were nice enough to stay still for the shot.

Hiking the miles of rolling fields, streams, and thick woodland trails were as welcoming as the chilled, lime mojitos waiting for us to enjoy later at an outside bar.
No complaints here.
