It looks great peering out from the inside but, trust me it is cold out there. How did people do it before insulation, furnaces, and snuggies? Even the birds look cold. Walking out the front door, the finches fly off from huddling in the bushes next to the house just to keep warm. The deer however, look nonplussed jumping through 2 foot snow drifts without a second thought. Trudging is a good word to describe a walk through the snow with air so cold you can feel your eyebrows freeze. You know it is bad when you find it too cold to breath. Times like these, some views are best looked at through a window.
